National Institute of Technology, Agartala was established as Tripura Engineering College in 1965, associated with Calcutta University and advanced to National Institute of Technology in 2006. The College was commenced with courses in three traditional branches of engineering, namely Civil, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering. The campus of the Institute is spread over an area of 335 lands, set amidst a sprawling landscape of natural quietness. The National Institute of Technology has 3 boy’s hostels & 1 girl’s hostel & one another hostel for the fresher’s only.
Eligibility
The candidate should have passed Higher Secondary or 10+2 exam with at least 50% marks in PCM.
45% of marks for SC Students and 40% of marks for ST students
