NTPC 2011 Recruitment Koldam Hydro Power Project
The Himachal Pradesh Government had decided to build a Project namely Koldam Hydroelectric Power Project of 800 MW in Bilaspur District. It is located about 25 km from District HQ on river Satluj and 4 km upstream of Dehar Power Plant. The structure of this project has to be done by NTPC Limited, a Govt. of India Undertaking.
The first-ever hydroelectric power project being executed by the National Thermal Power Corporation has run two years behind schedule. Contempt the recent set backs, National Thermal Power Corporation are convinced of completing the Koldam hydro electric project. It may be recalled that recent landslide in the vicinity had damaged the foundation of the under-construction main dam of the project.
The Koldam Project, along with other such projects, shall bring prosperity in Himachal Pradesh, which in turn, shall contribute to the prosperity of the country.
