PAM CAT 2011 Punjab Admission MCA Common Aptitude Test
Admission in Punjab at MCA its Depend On Common Aptitude Test (PAM-CAT) Which is carried by Punjabi University, Patiala on interest of the Punjab government for admission to MCA course in the colleges related to Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar and Punjabi University, Patiala.
PAM CAT is an annual entrance exam which can be given way by students from all over India. There are 3 colleges of Guru Nanak Dev University, 9 colleges of Punjabi University and 37 colleges of Punjab Technical University Providing MCA through PAM-CAT.
There are 15% seats allowed for Punjab State candidates in PAM-CAT while 15% seats are open for all India campaigners. Most of these institutes offer 60 seats though some of the institutes even offer up to 120 seats or 30 seats.
Eligibility criteria:
The Applicant must have a passed bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks in graduation.
Those in the final year of their graduation can also apply.

July 1st week, 2010 is the Last Date for receipt of completed application forms
July Last week, 2010 Declaration of result
Examination pattern:
Examination will be carried in to 2 parts as Below Maintained:
Paper 1: The first paper will be of 135 minutes having 50 objective type questions from each of the following sections:
Mental and Numerical Ability
General Knowlege
General English
Paper 2: For second paper candidates will have a choice between Mathemtics or Computer Science.
Second paper will be of 45 minutes containg 50 objective type questions as well.
