Punjab University is one of the oldest universities in India. The University of the Punjab was formally established with the convening of the first meeting of its Senate on October 14, 1882. The university campus is a residential one, spread over an area of 550 acres. Punjab University has a long tradition of teaching and research in science and technology, humanities, social sciences, performing arts and sports.

Punjab University in Chandigarh has invites for common entrance test for admission in MBBS, BAMS, BHMS, BDS, B.Pharma, LLB, and B.S for up coming session 2011.

Last date for receipt of completed application form (both by hand/post) at the CET Cell, Panjab University, Chandigarh is Mid March 2011 up to 4.00 P.M
