The Ministry of Human Resource developing, Government of India accepted a policy conclusion in 2002 to behavior an All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) annually, behaving away with many of the big number of entrance examinations that were making up conducted till then by various institutes in the country for admission to undergraduate degree programmes in the disciplines of Engineering / Technology, Pharmacy and Architecture.
