All-India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) was developed in 1956 to serve as a nucleus for raising magnificence in all structures of health care.AIIMS Thirteen Sophisticated Analytical Instrument Facilities (SAIFs) which provide sophisticated analytical instruments to users are functioning. The instruments available at the SAIFs involve SEM, TEM, EPMA, Mass, ICP, NMR, EPR Spectrometers, XRD, Thermal Analysis Systems, Gel Permeation Chromatograph, Mercury Porosimeter and constituents such as Graphite Furnace and Hydride Generator.
