American Graduation Initiative
The American Graduation Initiative is a program distinct by President Obama to help increase the more afraid of Americans entering and graduating from college. It is currently only a aimed program and is unclear if the goals will be met through existing proposed legislation, or through a separate American Graduation Initiative bill.
Primary goals of the American Graduation Initiative
Increase the number of junior college graduates by 5 million people, till 2020.
Create a junior college “challenge” program that provides matching concedes for successful community college programs.
Encourage non-traditional college completion systems.
Modernize community college facilities.
Create an online skills advance program to help students ready themselves for college and lifetime opportunities.
