Angrau Hyderabad
The University was officially introduced on March20, 1965 by Late Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri, the then Hon’ble Prime Minister of India. The University is a member of The Association of Indian Universities (AIU). The mission of the University to Generate technologies to ameliorate farm production and income to farmers. The University was named as Acharya N. G. Ranga Agricultural University on November 7th 1996 in reward and memory of a prominent Parliamentarian Acharya N.G. Ranga, who provided singular selfless service for the make of farmers and is considered as an outstanding educationist, kisan leader and freedom fighter.
