Annamalai University Distance Education LLB
The Annamalai University owes its being to the wisdom, benefaction and philanthropy of a far-sighted visionary- Dr. Rajah Sir Annamalai Chettiar of Chettinad. As early as 1920, he founded Sri Minakshi College in Chidambaram, a great pilgrimage centre and also a centre for South Indian traditional culture and learning. In 1928, the Annamalai University Act was passed and Sri Minakshi College paved the way for the establishment of Annamalai University.

Distance Education
The Directorate of Distance teaching constituted in 1979 offers four hundred and one different programmes of study under the Regular Stream. It is credited with the biggest enrolment in India and is well equipped with computer and other infrastructure, adequate teaching faculty and administrative set-up of its own, study centres, computer training centres, etc., to do its students’ clientele in their best interest at their door steps.

The student must have a bachelor degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks.

The admission is based on an entrance exam is carried by the university.

    i would like to know the procedure of appearing for LLB course in distant mode. I’m working in kolkata so it might not be possible for me to travel to Chidambaram for entrance test.
