AP Diploma

The AP (Advanced Placement program) allows scholars to pursue coursework equivalent to 1st-year American college courses. By such courses scholars can earn college credit and/or modern placement in American universities and benefit admission to many non-American universities. Scholars can take AP examinations in individual disciplines in May of each school year. In addition, the AP is now providing a scholar curriculum for scholars taking three or more AP courses. AP classes are provided in English, French, mathematics, sciences and social studies.

In addition to 6 necessitated courses, examinees for the Diploma must finish a course in the Theory of Knowledge and write an extended simple. Scholars interested in pursuing the IB Diploma or individual IB courses should discuss these choices with their Counselor or the IB Coordinator since these selections necessitate improvement planning.
