The International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme is planned as an academically challenging and stable programme of education with final examinations that trains scholars, commonly aged 16 to 19, for success at university and life beyond. The programme is generally taught over 2 years and has benefited recognition and respect from the global’s guiding universities.
The diploma is granted to scholars who benefit at least 24 points, discipline to certain min. levels of performance across the totally programme and to satisfactory participation in the creativity, action, service requirement. The highest total that a Diploma Programme scholar can be granted is forty-five points.
IB Diploma Programme scholars study 6 courses at higher stage or ideal level. Scholars must select one discipline from each of groups 1 to 5, thus ensuring breadth of experience in languages, the experimental sciences, social studies and mathematics.
