BHU Medical is also known as Institute of Medical Sciences Banaras Hindu University (IMS BHU). In the year 1960 the Institute was founded as College of Medical Sciences. It located at Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh state in India. BHU Medical is perhaps the only institute in the country, which provides courses excellence education both in the advanced Medicine and Ayurveda. It offers Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine & Surgery (BHMS), Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine & Surgery (BAMS), B Pharma (Ayurveda), PG Diploma in Panchakarma (Self-finance), PG Diploma in Ayurvedic Drug Standardization (Self-finance) and PG Diploma in Maternal Health Care (Self-finance).
