Birla Institute of Technology (BIT), Ranchi, India, was launched by the Philanthropist -Industrialist Mr. B. M. Birla in 1955 as a opening up institution of Technical Education, Training and Research. BIT is one of the few universities in India to have the super reckoning facilities. The university pulls students from all over the country and abroad. It accomplished the status of a deemed University as a result of its accomplishments both in respect of research and excellent standards of academic programs. BIT, Ranchi has instituted its first international centre in Bahrain in the year 2000 in collaboration with Mohammed Jalal and Sons, a guiding and esteemed business house of Bahrain.
