Birla Institute of Technology Mesra, (popularly recognized as BIT, Mesra or BIT, Ranchi) is an independent engineering and technology-orientated institute placed in Ranchi, Jharkhand in India. BIT Mesra extends programmes in as many as 22 academic disciplines. The institute has been a pioneer in induction of an in-house coating school, competence growth and mentorship programme. It is a Deemed University under Sec. 3 of the UGC act 1956.

Eligibility
Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree (Minimum 10+2+3)from any recognized university in any of following : (1) BCA (2) B.Sc in Computer Sci / Infotech / Electronics (3) B.Sc / B.A with Maths / Stats at graduate level.
Selections process
Candidate’s selection will be based on performance in the Test of candidates who have applied and fulfill the eligibility criteria. Online Entrance Test will be held on 16 and 17 June, 2010.
