Birla Institute of Technology Mesra, (popularly recognized as BIT, Mesra or BIT, Ranchi) is an independent engineering and technology-orientated institute placed in Ranchi, Jharkhand in India. BIT Mesra extends programmes in as many as 22 academic disciplines. The institute has been a pioneer in induction of an in-house coating school, competence growth and mentorship programme. It is a Deemed University under Sec. 3 of the UGC act 1956.

The candidates should have a recognized bachelor’s degree or BCA degree from recognized University.
Selection process
The candidates are selected on the bases of performance in entrance test .BIT conducts an online entrance test for admission to MCA course every year.
How to apply
Candidates can get the application form from online through BIT website and they can fill the details in the online form and send a printout to BIT Office in Ranchi along with a demand draft. The application form can also be found by sending a request for it to BIT, Mesra or any of the extension centres.
