The Central Council of Indian Medicine was establishment in 1971. The Central Council of Indian Medicine aims of the Council are to prescribe minimum measures of teaching in Indian Systems of Medicine appointing of Ayurveda, Unani. The Central Council of Indian Medicine syllabus is available in this website. CCIM main object is prescribe minimum standards of education in Indian Systems of Medicine viz. Ayurved, Siddha, Unani Tibb. Central Council of Indian Medicine is a Legal Body instituted by the Govt. of India under the Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970.
