Central Electrochemical Research Institute (CECRI) Madras Centre, instituted in 1971.CECRI in this composite is one among the three centers of Central Electrochemical Research Institute. The Centre is also equipt with LAN association with Broad band internet connectivity for accessing global cognition base on particular fields of interest and latest developments.
The center is geared now for growing allows constituents and systems demanding interdisciplinary approaches of Electrochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science and Computational methods. This Centre has been recently transformed into a full feathered R&D Centre for select electrochemical power systems namely Fuel cells, Supercapacitors and Electrochemical solar cells.
