Central Board of Secondary Education 2010
The Central Board of Secondary Education known as CBSE is the Board of Education for school level in India of Central Govt. In the country the 1st Board established the Uttar Pradesh Board of High School and Intermediate Education in the year of 1921, which was under jurisdiction of Rajputana, Central India and Gwalior.

The Indian govt. founded a joint Board named “Board of High School and Intermediate Education, Rajputana” in the year 1929. This added Central India, Ajmer, Merwara, and Gwalior. Later it was limited to Ajmer, Bhopal and Vindhya Pradesh. It became the “Central Board of Secondary Education” in the year 1952.

Examinations
The CBSE directs final examinations all spring: the AISSE (All India Secondary School Examination) for class ten and AISSCE (All India Senior School Certificate Examination) for class twelve. The board also yearly directs the AIEEE examination for admission to undergraduate courses in architecture and engineering in numerous colleges spread over the country.
