Chaudhary Charan Singh University (formerly, Meerut University) was launched in 1966, to cater to the demands of higher education in western Uttar Pradesh. CCS University has been licensed with Grade B+ by National Assessment and Accredition Council(NAAC).The teaching department going to different faculties, are housed in spacious buildings and have well-equipped laboratories and advanced facilities. The University celebrated its silver jubilee in 1991. 1973, Post Graduate level courses were inserted with the modernized programs. Since then, the University has been advancing at a becalm rate.
