CIFRI Barrackpore

The CIFRI Barrackpore (Central Inland Fisheries Research Institute Barrackpore) is the older prime research institute in the area of inland fisheries research and training in the country. Founded initially as Central Inland Fisheries Research Station through the Indian Government at Kolkata in the year 1947, it accepted the status of an institute and replaced to Barrackpore in the year 1959.

    I am pursuing M.Sc degree in Aquaculture Management & Technology from Vidyasagar University(West Midnapore).I would like to know if the institute has any scheduled one month training programme in the month of May next year.If so then i would like to do that under your guidance.
