DCCB CAMDEN
Approximately three (3) years ago, the District Council Collaborative Boards (DCCBs) were organized in an attempt to improve the conditions of the city by bridging the gap between the major stakeholders: the community, law enforcement and city government.
The DCCBs are guided by the principle that DCCB cannot figure out the city’s problems unless DCCB work collaboratively, that everyone is accountable for the conditions within the city and, consequently, everyone should be part of the solution. The boards are headed by specific by-laws and defined roles and responsibilities, and they meet on a monthly basis (opening their meetings to the entire district twice per year).
