For implementation and subsequent work of Delhi MRTS, on May 03, 1995 a company under the name Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Limited (DMRC) was certified under the Companies Act, 1956. DMRC has equivalent equity participation from GOI and GNCTD. The corporate office of the company is situated at New Delhi in India.

Delhi Metro shall usage ATP/ATS system of CATC for rail corridor whereas on the Metro corridor complete CATC (i.e. ATP + ATS + ATO) shall be utilized.
