University of Delhi School of Open Learning was founded in 1962. English and Hindi are the media of instruction for History, Political Science, Economics, Sanskrit, Education, Nutrition and Health Education and Commerce. The medium of instruction for Mathematics is English. For teaching English, Hindi, Urdu, Tamil and Punjabi, the medium will be the language concerned.
