Department Of Ayush Website is www.indianmedicine.nic.in. The Indian Systems of Medicine and Homoeopathy were imparted an autonomous identity in the Ministry of Health and Family .Welfare in 1995 by making a separate Department of Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and in November 2003. The infrastructure below AYUSH sector comprises of 450 UG institute, 99 colleges having PG Departments, 1355 hospitals with 53296 bed capability, 22635 dispensaries, 9,493 licensed manufacturing units and 7.18 lakh certified practitioners of Indian Systems of Medicine and Homoeopathy in the nation.
