DNHE Diploma in Nutrition and Health Education Programme is a holistic package, which offers possibilities to the learner to earn knowledge about nutrition and public health. It also empowers the learners to arise skills in communicating nutrition and health related information to community. The aim of the programme is to develop a knowledge base in fields of nutrition and public health, encourage awareness about conceptions and principles in communication and their application in nutrition and health education and formulate abilities in playing the role of nutrition/health educators in the community.
People wishful of working in either government or non-governmental fields in the role of nutrition/health educators would benefit from this Programme. DNHE Diploma in Nutrition and Health Education’s object is to contribute basic knowledge linked to nutrition and health as well as to aim learners in contributing this knowledge to the community at large.
