This Graduate Diploma is established on the coursework element of the Master of Medical Radiation Physics; it leaves students to finish the formal coursework essential for Australasian College of Physical Scientists and Engineers in Medicine (ACPSEM) accreditation severally from the research element. This programme deals the fields of basic radiation physics, dosimeters and imaging through with to radiation protection and therapy.
The Graduate Diploma program has been consented by ACPSEM as contributing for accreditation as a professional medical physicist. The Graduate Diploma is not recognized by ACPSEM. Students must consult the Medical Radiation Physics subject Adviser for admission to the course. One Year Diploma in Medical Radioisotopes Technique (DMRIT) can be done after B.Sc and a 2 Year Diploma in Radiation Medicine (DRM) after MBBS is also offered at BARC.
