Diploma Occupational Therapy
The Diploma Occupational Therapy programme is provided each January, and started in 2004. This Occupational Therapy course originated as a result of collaborative working among Bangor University and Cardiff University. The two-year Occupational Therapy course curriculum is a higher level academic award than the BSc (Hons) gained on completion of the full- and part-time routes. Diploma in Occupational Therapy will be qualified professional occupational therapists who are able to evaluate, treat and assist individuals to perform important daily human activities like self care, work and leisure through applying a range of treatment techniques and approaches. Diploma in Occupational Therapy stresses both theory and practical aspects and is designed to meet the needs of a range of health science graduates who like to develop knowledge and skills in the field of Occupational Therapy.

Candidates should have an appropriate degree or diploma in the health sciences. Candidates without such qualifications may be admitted to the course done a special entry program.s
