Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar was born in the year born April 14, 1891. Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar was elected as the chairman of the drafting committee that was constituted through the Constituent Assembly to draft a constitution for the autonomous the country, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar was the 1st Law Minister of the country, conferred Bharat Ratna in the year of 1990.
On 24/05/1956, on the occasion of Buddha Jayanti, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar announced in Bombay, that he would adopt Buddhism in October. On 0ctober 14/10/1956 Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar embraced Buddhism along with more of his followers. On the year 6/12/1956, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar died peacefully in his sleep.
