Seth Jai Parkash Mukand Lal Institute of Engineering and Technology, commonly known as JMIT, is settled in Yamuna Nagar district of Haryana. The college was founded in 1995, below the direction of Ved Parkash Mukand Lal Educational Society. It is a self-funding, ISO 9001:2000 manifested institute. JMIT is connected to Kurukshetra University and is sanctioned by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, to carry on various courses at various stages. The college extends technical courses at undergraduate as well as postgraduate levels.
