Engineering Services Examination 2010 Notification
UPSC (Union Public Service commission) takes Engineering Services Examination for recruitment in various engineering services/posts in respective Government Departments. The recruitment will be done for 3 categories: Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering.
UPSC application forms are available in diverse designated post offices across the nation. The fee for examination is paid by Central Recruitment Fee stamp.
The examination is led in 2 parts: Written Tests & Personality Test. Written Tests are of 1000 marks total consisting of five papers of 200 marks each. Personality Test dwells of an interview to judge the candidate’s knowledge in the applicable engineering subject and General Knowledge and other abilities. These jobs are conceived to be highly esteemed therefore a large number of candidates appear for CMSE exam but there are only a limited vacancies (nearly 500-600) so the selection is quite tough.
