Eligibility for Excise Inspector Exam Karnataka

Qualifications: An examinee must contain degree of a accredited University, or equal.

Age Limit: A examinee must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have attained the age of 25 years on the first July of the year of examination.

Physical Standards: For the posts of Inspector of Central Excise and Preventive Officer, examinees will have to satisfy the following min. physical standards, failing which they will not be qualified for appointment.

(i) Physical Standards (Min.)
Height 157.5 cms
Chest 81 cms (fully expanded with a min. expansion of 5 cms
Relaxable by 5 cms in the case of Garhwalis, Assamese, Gorkhas, Kumaon Region, Nagaland Tribes and members of ST

(ii) Physical Test:
Walking
1600 metres in 15 minutes

Cycling
8 Km in 30 minutes
