FCI India
FCI India (Food Corporation of India) was founded on 14/01/1965 under Food Corporation Act 1964. It controls by 5 zonal offices and a regional office in Delhi. FCI controlled several situations of plenty and scarcity, FCI has successfully met the difficulties of managing the complex task of offering food security for the country.

Objectives
To offer farmers remunerative prices
To build food grains availability at reasonable prices, particularly to vulnerable section of the society
To intervene in market for price stabilization
To maintain buffer stocks as measure of Food Security

Quality Policy
FCI, as India’s nodal association for implementing the National Food Policy, is devoted to offer credible, client focused services, for effective and efficient food security management in India.

FCI focus shall be:
Professional excellence in Management of food grain and other commodities
Continual improvement of systems, processes and resources
Service quality and stake holder orientation
Optimum utilization of resources
