Forensic Science Laboratory Hyderabad

The forensic science laboratory Hyderabad was establish in 1967.Forensic sciences or forensics is the application of several scientific methods and precepts to investigate criminal and civil actions which are of interest to the legal systems. The CFSL Hyderabad is a centre of excellence in chemical sciences.

The laboratory in the beginning started functioning from the Chirag Ali Lane in the Abids area of Hyderabad city. The laboratory is under the administrative control of CBI and under the direct control of the Directorate of Forensic Sciences, Ministry of Home Affairs Government of India.

There are four central forensic laboratories in India, at Hyderabad, Kolkata, Chandigarh and New Delhi. CFSL Kolkata in biological sciences and CFSL Chandigarh in physical sciences.

    can a civilian get a hair sample tested on paying for tests at central forensic science lab,if he suspects he’s being poisoned?
    if not,does srl ranbaxy etc test for poisoning?
