The GJU (Guru Jambheshwar University) is also known as GJUST (Guru Jambheshwar University of Science & Technology) Hisar. on 20/10/1995 the GJU Hisar was founded through an Act of the Legislature of the State of Haryana with the aims to serve and encourage studies and research in emerging fields of higher education. Departments at GJU Hisar like Faculty of Engineering & Technology, Faculty of Media Studies, Faculty of Non-Conventional Sources of Energy and Environment Sciences, Faculty of Science and Technology Interface, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Faculty of Medical Sciences, Faculty of Religious Studies.
