The Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education is a corporate statutory Body instituted by an Act of the Government of Goa. The Goa Board aim of The Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education is, aside from allowing recognition to the Secondary and higher Secondary schools and conduct of secondary and higher secondary exam, the Board notifies the state Government on policy matters associating to secondary and higher secondary education in general and on the following matters in particular in resulting a uniform pattern of education.
The objectives of the Goa Board will be to allow for secondary and higher secondary education and, for this purpose grant recognition to the needed number of such schools in the district; to pay special attention to the improvement of the secondary and higher secondary education so that the board assembles the required needs and standards of economic and social development
