The Government College of Engineering (GCE) Bargur is one of the prime and youngest engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu state. The College has insured seventh rank among 243 associated colleges as per Anna university ranking. The college located at Bargur in Tamilnadu state in India. The college was originally associated to the Madras University. There are 2 separate hostels for girls and boys providing a residential accommodation for 600 scholars.
Government College of Engineering Bargur offers full time and part time courses. It offers Electronics and communication engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Applied Electronics, Power Electronics and Drives courses.
