Graduation UIUC 2010
Graduation UIUC 2010
Commencement is a stimulating time on every university campus. At Illinois, it admits students’ academic accomplishments and affirms the extending energy of the campus. The conceding of bachelor’s degree and graduate degrees is celebrated by long-standing traditions, as well as reflections on the possibilities ahead. Candidates for Master’s degrees and Advanced Certificates should report to the Assembly Hall no later than 10:10 a.m. for the morning ceremonial occasion and no later than 1:40 p.m. for the afternoon ceremony.
Graduates or guests in wheelchairs or for whom walking is hard may be stopped at the Assembly Hall’s circle drive on the west side. Graduates are obligated for ordering and payment arrangements straight with the photographer. Doctoral candidates should report to the Assembly Hall tunnel off Fourth Street by 9:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. for their respective ceremonies. Please do not get anything with you into the Assembly Hall. You are not permitted to carry anything in the procession and there’s no secure place to leave it in the tunnel.
