The Gujarat Informatics Limited was begun with a clear aim to encourage IT and accelerate the process of E- Governance in the state. Gujarat Informatics Limited along with the proclamation of the IT policy, the Government has enabled GIL to efficaciously carry out IT projects in the state.
Gujarat Informatics Limited has relieved the Capacity building in the State Government through appointment of technical persons as System Managers in key Government departments. Gujarat Informatics Limited is also carrying regular Training Programs and Lecture series on respective topics for CIOs (Chief Information Officers/ Jt. CIOs). Gujarat Informatics Limited is aims to position Gujarat as a key State in the knowledge economy sectors of the country.
