Guru Nanak Institute of Management is founded in 1971. The Institute is also accredited as the nodal centre by the Indira Gandhi Open University as well as the Correspondence Education of the Madras University. GNIM mission is to create the better use of the superior infra functional facilities available in the institution, the management decided to start the institute of Management to provide to the needs of the students. The college has a superior infrastructure with dedicated and qualified faculty endeavoring their best to inculcate in the minds of the students, the qualities of leadership and service mindedness. The college has been recognized at the B++ level (overall score of 82%) by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council in September 2003.
