Gurukul Kangri University Haridwar was established on 4/03/1902 through Swami Shraddhanandaji with the sole objective to revive the ancient Indian Gurukula System of education. The distinguished services of this institution to the country were accredited when it was imparted the status of Deemed University in the year of 1962 by University Grants Commission.
This Gurukul Kangri Vishwavidyalaya was founded with the aim of offering an indigenous alternative to Lord Macaly’s education policy through giving education in the fields of Indian culture, Vedic literature, Indian philosophy, advanced sciences and research.

Vocational Courses: 1 year PG Diploma in Museology, Archaeology, Industrial Microbiology, Vocational Hindi & English.
Degrees: Vidyalankar (equal to BA), BPED, BSc, MSc, B Tech and PhD in several Art and Science subjects.

Dear Sir.
I am a lawyer in Delhi, and know someone who is pursuing MSc in Microbiology in the Universirty Campus in Hardwar. Does the University have a branch or an affiliated campus in Delhi, where the course in MSc (Microbiology) can be continued.
