HNBGU (Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University) is founded in the year of 1973 named as HNBGU in the year of1989. The HNBGU picked up its new name after Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna, a famous statesman from the region who headed the “Chipko Movement” to save the forest. HNBGU is offers world best B.Ed programme in India.
