The International Baccalaureate (IB) provides high quality programmes of international education to a universal community of schools. The International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma program evaluates student work as direct evidence of achievement against the stated goals of the Diploma Programme courses. The IB Diploma Programme is planned as an academically challenging and balanced curriculum of education with final examinations that develops students, generally aged 16 to 19, for success at university and life beyond. The IB Diploma programme is normally taught over 2 years and has gained recognition and respect from the world’s conducting universities.

The process is designed to ensure schools are well prepared to implement the programme successfully. IB Diploma Programme students study 6 courses at higher level or standard level.  The International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma is granted to students who make at least twenty-four points, subject to certain minimum levels of performance throughout the whole programme and to acceptable participation in the creativity, action, service requirement.
