IHBAS Dilshad Garden (Institute of Human Behaviour & Allied Sciences) was founded in compliance with the directives of the Hon’ble Supreme Court in reaction to a public interest litigation in the year of 1993. IHBAS Dilshad Garden is located at Dilshad Garden in Delhi in India. The Institute is an independent body certified below the Societies Act 1860, financed jointly through Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Indian Govt. and Govt.of NCT of Delhi.
As an independent body, the institute has its Memorandum of Association and Rules and Regulations duly sanctioned below the Societies Act. Minister for Health, NCT of Delhi Government is the President and Chief Secretary, NCT of Delhi Government is the president of the Executive Council of the institute.
