The Indian Institute of Technology Bhubaneswar is an Education and Research Institution and Brought about or set up or accepted; especially long established in 2008. The institute admits students into various B. Tech, M. Tech and Ph. D. programs. Admission into the various programmes based on the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) and he Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering. IIT Bhubaneswar is the first IIT to set up a separate marine campus in 2011 for carrying on interdisciplinary research in rising sea levels, ecology, disaster management, and other areas.
