Indian Veterinary Research Institute (IVRI) Bangalore is a reputed institute of India. The Bangalore Campus was launched in the year of 1972 with the help of Denmark Govt. for big scale production of FMD virus vaccine and directs basic and applied research on FMD. The campus is located at spread over 135 acres of land Hebbal in Bangalore city in Karnataka state in India. Contemporary services are availability for taking in charge the FMD vaccine production in big scale including fermentors etc and also animal testing services containing containment service. The FMD Vaccine manufactured is sold to the State and Central Govt. for big scale vaccination of livestock.
