Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University founded by Government of NCT of Delhi beneath the commissariat of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University Act, 1998 read with its Amendment in 1999. The University is accepted by University Grants Commission (UGC), India beneath section 12B of UGC Act.

Eligibility
Pass in 12th class of 10+2 pattern or equal with a lower limit aggregate of 55% marks in physics, chemistry and mathematics (admitting practical) furnished the Student has passed in each subject separately. Stduent must additionally have passed English as a subject of study (core or elective) in the qualifying examination.
Admission
Common Entrance Tests (CET) is carried by the university for the Admission to its B.Tech Program.
