Indian National Science Academy, a prime science Academy in the nation, meets essential needs in encouraging, distinguishing and honoring excellence. Another significant task is to issue journals, coordinate scientific communications and bring out proceedings and monographs. Travel Grants are provided to the research scholars by many institutes and research establishments across the country, like DST, CSIR, AICTE, INSA, ARDB, COSTED, Sir Ratan Tata Trust, IITMAANA etc., Data forms and filled sample forms and applications are provided here. The applicants may modify the contents/improve the way of presenting in their own way.

The name of the National Institute of Sciences of India was changed to the Indian National Science Academy (INSA) in February 1970. It recognizes many top young scientists, engineers and technologists by awarding them medals, providing modest support for pursuing research activities to needy young researchers. Senior scientists are honored with different awards/medals and the prestigious Research Professorship. The Indian National Science Academy was established in January 1935 with the object of promoting science in India and harnessing scientific knowledge for the cause of humanity and national welfare.
