The SAC Ahmedabad (Space Applications Centre) is an institution of research under the aegis of the ISRO (Indian Space Research Organization). SAC accomplishments add growth of communication and meteorological payloads for INSAT, Optical and Microwave payloads for IRS satellites. It located at Ahmedabad city in Gujarat state in India.
Space Applications Centre is one of the major centres of Indian Space Research Organization that is busy in the research, growth and demonstration of applications of space technology in the area of telecommunications, meteorology, remote sensing and satellite navigation.
