In the year of 1976 the ITI Ltd (Indian Telephone Industries Limited) Palakkad Unit was launched, as the countries 1st Electronic Switching System producing Unit, to manufacture big digital switches and digital trunk exchanges, in collaboration with Alcatel. This Unit is located at Palakkad in Kerala state in India. The Plant granted ISO 9001(2000E) and ISO 14000(2004). ITI Limited Palakkad objectives is to become a product autonomous manufacturing line as well for offering total turnkey solutions, in meeting the needs of the Telecom industry, world-wide.
ITI Ltd Palakkad manufacturing various Products/Projects like Large Digital Switches and Digital Trunk Exchanges (OCB-283), Double Sided & Multi Layer Printed Circuit Boards(PCB), IP Tax, Sim Cards / Smart Cards / National ID Cards, New Generation Network (NGN) Equipment, Stand-alone Signaling Transfer Point (SSTP) Equipment and VRLA Battery.
