On 2/09/1957the JKPSC (Jammu & Kashmir Public Service Commission) Srinagar was founded under section 128 of the Constitution of J&K, with Major General Yadev Nath Singh PVC, as it is 1st president. It located at Srinagar in Jammu state in India. JKPSC Srinagar task is to choosing the most capable and deserving peoples, for manning the civil services and posts, and do other works assigned to the Commission in accordance with the authorisation of the Constitution. Under section 129 of the Constitution of Jammu & Kashmir the president and the Members of the Public Service Commission are nominated through the Governor for a time period of 5 years or till he attains the age of 65 years whichever is earlier.
